Our Story: How The Wandering Sip Began

When planning an event, people often ask us whats the story of The Wandering Sip came to life. The answer is simple: it started with two people, a shared love for good times, and the idea that celebrations deserve something more memorable than just a standard drinks table.

We’re Chloe and Ben, the duo behind The Wandering Sip. Like most great ideas, ours grew out of countless conversations over late nights, weddings, and parties with friends. We noticed that while food trucks were everywhere, bars at private events were often either complicated to organise or didn’t add much atmosphere. We thought, why not bring a mobile bar that feels just as stylish and fun as the event itself?

That’s when the vision for The Wandering Sip was born. We wanted to create a mobile caravan bar that could roll into any event across Adelaide and instantly become part of the experience. For us, it’s not just about serving drinks. It’s about creating a space where guests gather, laugh, and share moments that people will remember long after the last glass is poured.

From the very beginning, our goal has been simple: to make hosting stress-free and to give our clients the freedom to enjoy their own event. Whether it’s a wedding in the Adelaide Hills, a backyard celebration, or a milestone birthday, we love seeing our caravan bar become the centrepiece of the party.

Starting this business has been a journey full of excitement, hard work, and a lot of cocktails taste-tested along the way. We’re proud to bring something unique to Adelaide and can’t wait to continue sharing our passion with every event we’re part of.
